As smart connected new energy vehicles gradually become popular.

Many car owners have discovered

Riding in a new energy vehicle makes it easier to experience motion sickness.

This is actually due to the heavy weight of new energy vehicle batteries.

Caused by factors such as the kinetic energy recovery system.

Now, the gospel for those who get carsick is here!

Recently

ByThe technical team led by Chongqing University is tackling the problem.

"The magnetorheological intelligent suspension system has been successfully developed."

Avoiding unpleasant travel experiences such as motion sickness and bumps.

became a thing of the past

Walking into the experimental field of the Western (Chongqing) Science City in the Bishan area, facing the same speed bump, ordinary suspension vehicles shook and jolted, while the test vehicle equipped with the "Magnetorheological Smart Suspension System" moved smoothly, keeping the cabin as stable as a mountain. Experts explained that the key to this technology is a miraculous "special magnetorheological fluid," which is humorously referred to in the industry as "venom." This liquid can change between solid and liquid states, much like the Marvel superhero Venom, to adjust the vehicle's stability.

Professor Yu Miao from Chongqing University explained that magnetorheological fluid is an intelligent liquid that is created by adding magnetic particles to polymer oil. Under the influence of a magnetic field, it transforms from a liquid into a semi-solid state. During travel, the damping force of the damper is adjusted in real-time based on the undulations of the road, the speed of the vehicle, working conditions, and the number of passengers in the vehicle, achieving real-time shock absorption control.

All of this outstanding performance is attributed to the system's built-in intelligent "brain." This "brain" can analyze road conditions in real-time and with precision through an efficient background control module. Whether faced with the sudden impact of speed bumps, the complex challenges of pothole-laden surfaces, or the changes in centrifugal force while turning, it can identify and respond quickly to each one. By intelligently adjusting the damping intensity, the system ensures a high level of comfort and safety, delivering an unprecedented smooth experience for passengers.

Currently, this advanced "magnetorheological intelligent suspension system" is about to be first applied in some "Chongqing-made" intelligent connected new energy vehicles, and in the future, it is expected to be widely used in more fields.

Professor Yu Miao stated that this technology can be applied not only in intelligent suspension systems for vehicles but also in areas such as optical platform shock absorption, brake systems, and flexible joints in robots, making it highly versatile.

Recently, Beijing Shengjing Jiacheng Investment Fund signed an agreement with Maglev Technology Co., Ltd., founded by Professor Yu Miao's team from Chongqing University’s School of Optoelectronic Engineering, injecting 15 million yuan in angel funding into this innovative enterprise, the first in the Southwest region dedicated to the industrialization of magnetorheological intelligent suspension technology. This not only provides strong support for the transformation of magnetorheological technology achievements in China but also adds new vitality to smart manufacturing and technological innovation in Chongqing.

This round of financing clearly focuses on four core areas: first, strengthening technological research and development, continually advancing the innovation and iteration of cutting-edge technologies such as magnetorheological intelligent suspension systems and magnetorheological materials; second, expanding market layout, rapidly establishing a more comprehensive marketing service system nationwide; third, enhancing product management level, optimizing production processes, and ensuring product quality excellence; fourth, emphasizing talent cultivation and team building, providing a solid talent guarantee for the company's sustainable development.
